As per an interview given by Saurabh at IIT Bombay, e-conclave 2021, he was forced to choose mathematics and would choose arts if given a choice. He further stated that after graduation he told his parents that he wanted to study arts, for which he went to JNU to pursue his masters in Hindi literature.
