Recently released Disney+Hotstar's Tamil web series Mathagam has created a good buzz among the audience. And with the positive reviews flowing in, the audience is now demanding part 2 of the series. 

Mathagam is a gangster drama series that revolves around a cop Ashwath, an IPS Officer, and is set in Chennai city where Padalam Sekarr, a crime lord, has hosted an event. In the event, the latter has invited all the underworld bigwigs. And the protagonist of the show, IPS Officer Ashwath begins an operation to set up a clampdown at the event.  

The series ends with a cliffhanger with the face-off between the protagonist and the crime lord, which makes the audience more excited for the second season.
