Ajeet Bharti was born on 24 September 1987 to a poor farmer family in Manjhaur village in Begusarai, Bihar. He did his schooling at Sainik School Tilaiya, Jharkhand.

He has been a brilliant student since childhood. He was a member of the School Basketball team in Sainik School. And had won several awards for acting in plays and stand-up comedy acts.

Ajeet further went on to complete his BA Hons from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University between 

2004-2007. After graduating in English literature, he then pursued his masters in Mass Communication

from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (2008-2010) in the field of Journalism and News 

Media.

Ajeet started his career as a Project Coordinator (Academic) in Endeavour Systems Pvt. Ltd. (Mar 2007

-Jul 2008). Then he joined Times of India, which is owned by Times Group, as an Intern (Nov 2010- May 2011). He worked as a copy editor in The Economic Times (June 2011-May2012) for a year. 

For a further 10 months, he worked as a Senior Sub Editor at Indo-Asian News Service. He was the assistant professor at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies from Feb 2013 to Oct 2013. 

Ajeet then went on to join ByteDance as a Senior Editor where he worked for 2 years and 10 months (Feb 2016- Nov 2018). He joined OpIndia as an editor from Dec 2018 to March 2021, 2 years and 4 months. 

Ajeet Bharti is currently doing independent journalism through his own YouTube Channel of the same name.

Ajeet Bharti's father, Vinod Bharti, is a farmer and his mother, Shivani Bharti, is a housewife. Ajeet married Deep Shree in 2022, his wife is Bengali and her occupation is Graphic Designing.
