The creator and director of Special Ops, Neeraj Pandey is back with another nail-biting action thriller series, The Freelancer. The series was released on Disney+Hotstar on September 1 and has been garnering wonderful reviews from the viewers. 

The series is set in war-torn Syria. It follows a cop turned mercenary Avinash Kamath, who comes back to India after 13 years due to his friend's suspicious suicide. Later he finds that his friend's daughter has been taken captive in Syria to forcefully join ISIS. He takes on the job of rescuing Aliya Khan.

Mohit Raina is playing the main lead role, Avinash and Kashmiri Pandit as Aliya Khan. The series also has Anupam Kher (Dr Arif Khan), Ayesha Raza Mishra (Sabeena Khan), Manjari Fadnis (Mrunal Khan), Sarah Jane Dias (Radha Baxi) and Sushant Singh (Inayak Khan) in the pivotal roles.

The Freelancer Part 2 Disney+Hotstar Release Date

The show was released on the streaming platform on Set 1 with four episodes (each 60 mins). The fourth episode ends in a cliffhanger hinting for the part 2. 

Note that, The Freelancer consists of 7 episodes and, so far, there are only 4 episodes of the series have been released. As per sources, the remaining episodes of the series will be released during Diwali in November.
