The latest Telugu horror-thriller, 'Pindam' is having a great run at the box office. The film is receiving glowing word of mouth with each passing day. 

The film is being promoted as the scariest film ever. It is in the 1930s and revolves around a real incident in a house in Nalgonda.

It was released on 15 Dec on 170 screens and after the 1st weekend, the screens increased to 510 worldwide, all thanks to the positive WOM. 

Pindam Box Office 1st Weekend

The film took a start of 40L and saw a growth of 2.50% on the second day, Saturday. It further showed a huge jump of 39% for a cume of 1.38 Cr.

Pindam OTT Release Date

Makers did right by not doing a pre-deal with any streaming platforms. It seems now they will do a bigger business than what they had on the plate. 

It is being said that Hotstar, Zee5, Netflix and Aha Video were in the race to get the digital rights to the film. However, makers haven't announced anything officially yet. 

Update: As per the media reports, Netflix bought the OTT rights of Pindam. It is expected to be released soon (around January 2nd week) on the OTT platform Netflix.
