Shivrayancha Chhava is a Marathi film and 6th movie in the Shivraj Ashtak series. The film series has been a lucrative business in terms of box office. All the previous five movies have combinedly grossed around 120 Crs at the box office. 

The latest release Shivrayancha Chhava is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire (1681-1689).
