Ami Ganatra is a noted author and a management professional. She became popular after authoring the bestseller book, 'Mahabharata Unravelled.' 

She often appears on YouTube Podcasts and Literary Festivals. Apart from her profession, she is a certified yoga instructor infact her interests in shastra's comes because of Yoga, as per her. 

She knows four languages Hindi, English, Gujarati and Marathi.

Ami is from Mumbai, she was born in 1983. She is from an enginerring bakcground. She completed her bachelor in computer science from VJI-University of Mumbai from 2000-2004.

She went on to pursue her post graduation from IIM-Ahmedabad in Business Administrationa and Management,General from 2006-2008.

Ami Ganatra Career

Ami started her career as a software engineer in Infosys Technologies Limited where she worked for

2yrs. She then joined Bain & Company at London, United Kingdom where she worked as summer associate from Apr 2007 to June 2007, and as Case Team Leader from 2008 to 2013 at New Delhi, Mumbai and  London.

After working for Bain & Company for 5 yrs, Ami joined BASF as Regional Manager (Nov 2013 to Jul 2016) and Head, Regional Strategy, Business Support and Special Projects, Dispersions & Resins-

Asia Pecific (Jul 2016-Apr 2020) in Hong Kong. She worked there for 6yrs 6months.

She was principal at The Bridgespan Group for 1 yrs (Oct 2021- Sep 2022).

Ami Ganatra Books

Ami has written three books in her career so far, as of March 2024. All the three books being

the bestseller. Her first book was launched in July 2021 named Mahabharata Unravelled-1: Lesser Known facets of a well known history. 

The second book came in July 2022 namely Ramayana Unravelled:Lesser Knwon facet of Rishi

Valmiki's epic and the third one Mahabharata Unravelled- 2: The Dharma Discourses in Jan 2024.
